I'd highly recommend moving to cascading style sheets. Many classic tags are now depricated, so CSS is replacing these. The following tags are now considered depricated by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C): applet, basefont, center, dir, font, menu, s, strike, u. Check out W3Schools for more info. More are sure to follow, but text formatting is a lot easier once you start using CSS anyway.

That's true, CSS is a much better way. But how do I convince the client that the people who visit their site with netscape 4.5 or so (around 40% of their traffic) are used to things looking strange...
