I actually sent feedback to report this as a bug, since it affects all Rendezvous URLs. It doesn't make a lot of sense to enter each host into the proxy exceptions since this is supposed to be "zero config" networking.

I suppose the proxy could be configured to work with these addresses but that means it has to be on the same network as the clients.

Also, the OS sometimes refers to the Rendezvous URls with a dot on the end (i.e., "my-machine.local."), and if you don't have this variation in your config it doesn't catch it.

Additionally I noticed that Safari doesn't treat the exceptions as subdomains, so if I have 10 different web server addresses in my local ".my.lan" domain (which I do, for testing purposes) I have to enter each one separately..
