Registering additional Rendezvous sites in Apache
You can still register Virtual Hosts using the Apple Rendezvous module, but you've just got to do it outside of the VirtualHost directives. Simple use the RegisterResource format and point it to the folder that is the root directory for the Virtual Host. I've got a few setup here at work and it works beautifully.

I kind of assumed he'd given up since Apple came out w/ their module, which is a shame because Apple's won't run on other Unixes. I'd really looked forward to putting mod_rendezvous on our Solaris/Apache webservers at work for our intranet.

What is the "path" if the server has different IPs for each host? I have an Xserve with multiple IP addresses and some of them have a web site associated with them. I would like apple rendezvous module broadcast the names. Tried something like
