Safari supports multiple undo levels

"I was flabbergasted that Escape didn't work, Cmd-Z didn't work, Cmd-. didn't work, nothing brought it back that I could see. A simple overtype without even moving the the next field. "

actually, speaking of odd undo behaviour/lack thereof, while editing bookmarks in Safari (v60), i accidentally overtyped one of the names of the bookmarks, and i too couldn't use escape or undo*!

that is, i couldn't use undo until i accepted the faulty text by pressing return. then undo restored the previous name. i think this is a change from how undos used to be handled.

* actually, i could select undo/redo, but it was undo/redo'ing changes that occured before i had obtained an insertion point in the bookmark name and had overtyped the name.
