Thanks for the suggestion. Acutally, the ethernet port would not work before I installed the airport card. I even set up a location with just the ethernet interface (no modem selected) still no luch. The firmware is up to date, too.

When I first got my Cube I had lots of problems with the Ethernet. Sometimes I would only receive and not send data. If I tried to copy a file from my Cube to a network drive it would just lock up. I think after I went to 10.2 it started working right. I have never had problems with my Airport card though. I do run a WISP, so I have lots of power just above my home.

Is your ethernet port connected to a hub or switch. My iBook 600 won't work on my home network which is 10Mb hub based, but works fine on my work one (100Mb switched). I've not bothered with a solution since I've got WiFi at home anyway, and cables are too messy. |
