...I'll bet you're getting kinda tired or doing a PotW, only to have everyone chime in with something a little better/cheaper or just plain different! Oh well, it's still a great way to learn about the many little apps and utilities that everyone uses or finds useful!!!

Thanks again for all your hard work on the greatest OS X site on the 'net!

I wasn't aware Rob wanted the last word and didn't want any follow-ups. I find the discussions usefu.

I posted about DragThing and will continue to use it, but will take another look at Youpi Key based on this discussion. I think I tried it early on and it didn't work for me, but a lot has changed sicnce 10.0.

Next to MacUpDate, this is the most important site for me. Thanks Rob.

Actually...

It's sometimes the most interesting part! My PotW are certainly not intended to be the last word. They are also not closed for discussion (I could elect to disable comments on them, but I like reading the comments!), and (probably most important of all), they may not even be the best solution for everyone -- they're just what they claim to be -- a program that I found cool, useful, and/or interesting, and thought I'd pass along to others. I get no compensation for listing something as a PotW, nor do I listen to others' PotW recommendations (other than "Hey, try this, it might be a PotW candidate"). They're strictly my picks...

So to summarize, no, I don't tire of it, and I find the comments most enlightening (as I can't try or know about every single program that's out there!). I had tried Youpi Key once and didn't like it all that much, but I will take another look at it (and sometimes, for me, simpler is better, which is one of the reasons I liked One Key). That's what makes the comments so useful -- showing the variety of choices available to solve a given problem!

I think it's a great think too-finding out about all these little apps
you can install to make things easier and tweak the Mac os.I didn't like DragThing and threw it out.The installation went very smoothly for me.Didnt have any trouble putting OneKey into pref pane.A little trouble figuring out how to register the thing, but that got done and I'm happy.-working good.

I'm running Mac os 10.2.4 on Emac.
