Troubleshooting 10.2.4 problems on a new iBook

I'm betting you will eventually have to have the logic board replaced. I had very similar symptoms and applied solutions almost exactly like yours, with limited success. In the end, I had to send it back to Apple. Sent it on a Tuesday, it was returned on a Thursday with a new logic board, and it has been a champ ever since. Another user with an identical iBook had the same problem and also sent hers in for warranty repair.

So keep your backups fresh...

Well, guess what? You are right. After working without incident for a whole day it returned to it's flaky behavior. I sent it back to Apple today.

And I thought I was clever for fixing it ;-)
