Installing GNU Electric on 10.2
Authored by: Morgoth on Feb 16, '03 10:06:31PM
The hack I originally posted as a hint was only the first step.

After writing this hint I used PackageMaker to make an installer for Electric. This installer can be found on the mac part of my website. This installer puts Electric where the designer had originally intended (/usr/local/bin). There are still some issues with permissions settings on the installed files so I suggest typing the following in Terminal after installing the package:

% chmod 755 /usr/local/lib/electric
% chmod 755 /usr/local/bin/electric
% chmod 644 /usr/local/lib/electric/.cadrc
