simply delete that event?
Authored by: swilcox on Jan 31, '03 10:40:39AM

My question exactly. Am I missing something here? I do this all the time. I schedule a repeating event for the classes I teach and then selectively delete those that occur on holidays, etc. I don't get this hint.

Hmm ... I must've missed something when testing it, as it did exactly what was described ... I'll check again tonight and, if it's irrelevant, it's gone (unless the author would like to clarify, of course).

This way you can keep a record

Although you can delete a single ocurrance, this method allows you to keep a record of the canceled meeting. I could see situations where this would be handy.

You can also use the status field to mark the event as cancelled and it will display an X in the upper right corner of the event.
