Does the box panic?
Authored by: sardu_mac on Jan 29, '03 08:15:16AM
Is the machine dying/panicing or are the httpd processeses just dying?

PS. Check out your Server: header...

Server: Apache/1.3.27 (Unix) (Red-Hat/Linux) mod_fastcgi/2.2.10 mod_jk/1.2.0 mod_perl/1.24_01 PHP/4.3.0 FrontPage/5.0.2 mod_ssl/2.8.12 OpenSSL/0.9.6b
X-Powered-By: PHP/4.3.0

Maybe Apache just needs another 10 or 20 big modules. Or at least a third SSL plugin :-)

No panic, just dies ... we may have identified the culprit, but a bit more testing is in order (so far so good on the first two tests, though).
