Nice.
Thanks so very much for the tip, works great. No one else seemed to be able to answer this.

But on Apple's X11 final beta, the text boxes, buttons, and the paragragh styles selection box look alot lot like windows. This is freaking me out- cant stand the look! I know its great software, but.....

Is this normal? a bug maybe? Just checking.....

Thanks again,
Sean

OpenOffice appears to use its own widget set for drawing windows and its misc. elements. It looks like that under Linux, too. It is very unfortunate for all OpenOffice lovers that such an ugly appearance was selected, especially since there are so many other, nice looking windowing designs. And I'm not referring to XP.

That said, you can at least change the way the program appears a little bit.
1) Click on the "Tools" menu and select "Options..."
2) Under the "OpenOffice.org" tree, click on "View"
3) Choose a more appealing option under the "Look & Feel" menu

Enjoy a bit more.
