Cmd-clicking a link

And Command-Shift clicking a link will open a background window in a FEW browsers, but none of them will do it with toolbar links and ESPECIALLY not with bookmark menus - very cool!

Cmd-clicking a link

Actually, in MSIE you can open a link in a new window in front or behind the current window, when selecting a bookmark from the Favorites Bar, even from a folder drop-down.

The trick is, that you first select the bookmark without holding down a modifier key, and while holding down the command (open in front) or command-shift (open behind) keys, release the mouse button.

(The reason for having to do this is that normal Command Clicking on the Favorites Bar invokes the ability to drag a folder around to rearrange the links.)
