me too actually. I used to sign in as >console to run mozilla so it would be fast on my 266 mhz machine. Now I just use Safari ;)
but honestly, loging in under >console is just a regular user account. Anything you allow them to do there they could do in Terminal.

Policies in some organizations may want to limit access to any type of command line. Such policies can be enforced with the use of 10.2 Server & Workgroup manager. This tip is probably not a concern for individuals.
