No Tabbed Browsing?

Hmm...I don't see any support for tabbed browsing. Is it there and I'm just missing it?

couldn't find it either. major bummer!
also, autofill on password boxes does not seem to be integrated. another major bummer.
i am also having problems with the community i'm working for (sending short messages via some php-code).

where can we spam apple with requests? :)

Click on the insect in the upper right hand corner of Safari- that will reach the right folks.

Note: is it just me or does that insect remind anyone else of the frowny face in iCab?

No Tabbed Browsing?
Authored by: vgz on Jan 07, '03 11:00:56PM
I just sent the following:

Please add the following to Safari: tabbed browsing (look at Chimera for this though I would like to see some sort of brushed metal bars that stretch to fill all available space with a division line between them (two tabs would take up the width of the window with the division in the middle) that had a close button on them); forms auto-fill using the Address Book database's Me card; password management ala Chimera(remember any password in the keychain); ability to customize the toolbar and hide it with the standard button in the upper corner of the window; import bookmarks (from Chimera/Mozilla for example); tabmarks (from Chimera: bookmarks that contain several sites and open them all in a group of tabs.); favicons on the bookmark bar; preference to set the minimum font size (I'm on a 17" Studio Display @ 1600x1200 resolution and it can be difficult to read some sites that set small fonts); option to block specific cookies in the cookie manager; the ability to block ad banners or other images (see Omniweb); and finally I would like to see a drawer for bookmarks, search results, and history. For a Public Beta Safari is great. Its very fast and stable. This may seem like a long list but I just want this to be the best browser it can be.

You can quote and agree with me on the features or change it as you see fit. Maybe if enough people request these they will be added.
