can't edit the name of a new folder
1) go to finder
You are in error, sir.
"1) go to finder
2) open a window 3) set it to list view 4) command-shift-n for a new folder RESULT: it doesn't let you edit the name until you hit return " Sure it does! 10.2.3 Press command, shift + n and get a new folder, edit the name and hit return to save. Hands never leaving the keys. And it will EVEN keep your current selection(s) active. EVEN in the same column! That's nuts.. it rules for organizing.. just what the "Finder" was meant to do in the first place! :) |
