I ran into the same problem. Ended up reinstalling Mozilla from the disk image to recover the system. Didn't have to delete the ~/Library/Mozilla settings which is good since that is the only copy of my book marks I have.

Uninstalling according to the directions, which was simply replacing the Chrome folder with the copy from before the Multizilla install, didn't work.

But that wasn't sufficient for me. I opened the install log and removed a few additional files:
Works like a charm now. Of course, it'd be easier to just reinstall Mozilla. :-)
Doesn't work for me
Me neither -- same thing happened, and had to reinstall. But I've gotta tell you, nothing is winning out over Chimera for me at the moment.
Try Linux version, not Mac version
I ran into the same problems as above, and was able to resolve them
by downloading and installing the Linux/Unix version rather than the Mac
version.
This is on Mac OSX 10.2.2, Mozilla 1.2.
The added toolbar does seem to work well - I don't yet know whether it adds enough utility to take the extra screen space. |
