One reason to use this instead of right-click is that some apps (Project Builder for one) do not list their open windows when right-clicked. (That\'s CTRL-click for the mono-buttoned.)

Also, when cycling through the Dock with the up and down arrow keys, left-arrow opens up the applications context menu, i.e., the one you get with right-click.

Like other Full Keyboard Access functions, the <ESC> key cancels the action.
