iCal also fails when Diablotin is used to suppress fonts
I use Diablotin to weed out the font list of fonts for languages I can't speak yet, never use, or find unattractive. iCal also fails when Diablotin is used to suppress fonts
Yesterday I discovered that ICal refused to start. This is after I installed Diamond Soft's Font Reserve 3.1.1. Font Reserve moves all but 15 fonts from the System Fonts folder. Diamond Soft says that Apple's iApplications require Helvetica fonts to run. They get around this by auto activating fonts required by these applications and others. |
