Does not work for me
Authored by: powervette on Nov 01, '02 02:56:42PM

I mount the other computer on my desktop using the "Connect to Server...", I then drag that icon to the ~/library/favorites folder which automatically makes an alias. I then drag the mounted computers icon to the trash. Then I use the favorites menu and select the newly created item for the other computer and I get the error "the alias iBook could not be opened because the original item could not be found" but I can find it no problem by going back to "Connect to Server...",

Do I have something set wrong? I am using 10.2, the other computer is 10.1.5

Thanx

Drag to the Toolbar

you can also drag the mounted network drive to the Toolbar.
If the drive is unavailable and you click on it in the toolbar it'll automatically reconnect.
