Which iBook ?
Authored by: n9yty on Oct 24, '02 11:06:45AM

It works great ONLY on the 700Mhz White iBook with the Radeon graphics chip (RageM6 in the Apple System Profiler).

At least that's what I get by reading the page. Mine is that model, and it worked fine here. Be careful, though. A bad typing error, or other mishap *could* render your machine fairly useless. Some have, from the web site reports, and they haven't found a fix yet. <gulp>

In that case you just need to type

set-defaults (press return)
reset-all (return)

in OpenFirmware to clear the variables you have set by this hack.

You can reset all values by zapping your PRAM/NVRAM--reboot while holding down the Cmd-Opt-P-R combination until the iBook "bongs" a second time.
