Terminal was my main beef, but is now fixed
Authored by: Thom on Oct 24, '02 01:06:23AM

I'm just glad they finally built this functionality into Terminal.app, because I had asked Nicholas about this before. He said he couldn't do it (a carbon vs cocoa thing) but that he'd patched it somewhat kludgily and didn't want to distribute that until he'd done it in a cleaner fashion.

Try it, command double-click an URL from within the terminal and it should open in your browser window.

ICeCoffEE 1.3 does it

If you're using Jaguar, ICeCoffEE 1.3 now supports Terminal properly - even if you use the command-double-click thing, you'll probably find ICeCoffEE an improvement as it works on email addresses, with 'slack' URLs, has a better parser, lets you pick an application to open with, or bookmark, (Yeah I wrote it so I'm a bit biased :-)
