Find devices connected to your AirPort base station without AirPort Utility 5.6

Or you could use that handy-dandy built-in utility, snmpwalk, in Terminal to walk the table of your device:

snmpwalk -v 2c -c public 172.16.1.1 ipNetToMediaPhysAddress

Presuming you kept the default network. 172.16.1.1 is the Airport.

Or, if you like a little more human-oriented output:

snmptable -v 2c -c public 172.16.1.1 ipNetToMedia

The Airport Utilities basically do EVERYTHING over SNMP.
