10.6: Install Battery Update 1.4 under Snow Leopard
The fix above didn't work for me and I assumed it was because it wasn't running with admin priviledges, so for step 7 I ran the following instead: 7. Open Terminal and run this command without the quotes. "sudo /System/Library/SystemConfiguration/BatteryUpdater.bundle/Contents/Resources/BatteryFlasher -bu14" .. with sudo being the addition. Enter your admin password and you're done. The lot code changed immediately for me, I didn't even need to reboot.
