Show the total number of messages in Mail mailboxes

I misinterpreted the original post. It was about total counts, not unread. This still kind of works but you need to click into the mailbox.

Original post bellow:
I do this by using a SmartMailbox. Much simpler.

Create a smart mailbox, with multiple "Messages in Mailbox" and voila, you can have unread counts for as many mailboxes as you want. They can even be nested. AKA I have one with "recent new mail" which is a smart mailbox for mail arrived in the last 48 hours, and a second for "flag for followup" which speaks for itself.

Both of these are combined into a "inbox count" mailbox, which shows up on my dock icon.<!-- COMMENTSIG --><div class="comment-sig">---
