Use semicolon for 'waits' not comma
Comma is supposed to be a time delay only (not sure if iPhone handles it like a wait). Instead use the semicolon if you want the phone to wait until you press a button to proceed.
Use semicolon for 'waits' not comma
Yes, comma ("pause" in the iOS keypad entry thing) only works if the extension (or menu choice) can be entered automatically after a preset delay. Using a semicolon ("wait") will actually present a button on screen (example here) for you to press when needed.
I'm not sure about the messed-up-caller-ID thing, though, as all my contacts with pauses or waits display just fine. [Edit: Oh, I guess on incoming calls from that number? I suppose that the extension info would cause it to not match in that case; I've never received a call from a number with extensions. :) ] Edited on Mar 01, '13 11:36:55AM by Unsoluble
