Back up and restore reminders
Reminders are stored within ~/Library/Calendars so they are in fact backed up automatically and they are retrievable from a Time Machine backup without one having performed a manual Export operation.
Back up and restore reminders
Well I'm now going to add a caveat.... have just tried restoring iCloud reminders from a Time Machine backup and I've had to give up.
I was able to identify the appropriate caldav folder that contained my iCloud "calendar" folders but when I restore it to to ~/Library/Calendars/xxxxxx.caldav it only stays there for a minute or so before the background iCloud syncing kicks in and deletes "unknown" items. I have previously played around with Mail signatures that were being mashed by this process, but calendars have quite a few more sub-components and plist files etc so not quite so keen to "play" with those. |
