Use Emoji in file and folder names

The thing to watch out for is compatibility. While this might be fine for files that live entirely and exclusively on your Mac, adding emoji to file or folders that you might want to move to a PC via a memory stick, over a CIFS share, or uploaded to Dropbox, or even just stored on a FAT or exFAT filesystem etc could very well be problematic. Don't get me wrong… I'm not saying it won't work and I haven't tried, but I've seen extended ACLs cause enough issues that I think putting foreign characters such as emoji into files or folders that could potentially leave your Mac is probably something to watch out for.
