Access file attachments from iCloud Notes
I've had a load of problems with Notes failing to update properly just between different Macs. I cannot see how to reliably 'force' entries I make on one Mac to get pushed into iCloud. For example, one day last week I was working on one machine and adding notes over a period of about 6 hours from 2pm to 8pm. But when I access Notes from another machine the following day the most recent updates are from 3pm! This even though the Notes title bar sporadically claimed 'Updating' the whole afternoon, and was quiet before I shut down the machine a few minutes after 8 pm. It is most frustrating and makes iCloud difficult to count on as a means of information transfer. I have resorted to my archaic method of backing up TextEdit files on a flash drive I can carry between machines. I write the notes in Notes, and copy them into TextEdit files at the end of each day! |
