Open Apps with Siri
kirkmc adds: It's about time, frankly. I've been extremely disappointed in Siri; it hardly ever works for me i couldn't agree more!! i simply cannot get Siri to do anything, plus i live in France (though as an American, i still have my iPhone configured in US English) and, as it turns out, most of Siri's interesting services -- like traffic info -- are unavailable here. This is astounding, considering that a majority of Apple's profits on iOS devices comes from non-US sales. Finally, to add insult to injury, if you don't have a really good internet connection, Siri simply cannot function at all -- as opposed to the integrated 'Voice Control', which can. Sorry about the rant.... BUt it feels good to get it off my chest Note: i just got my iPhone5 yesterday to replace the 4S that now goes to my Wife; the 4 goes to my Mom, and the girls get to replace their 3G (without phone service) with Mom's 3GS -- they're super-excited because most games don't run on the 3G... Go ahead, say it: i'm an iSlut... Cheers, Peter |
