Access iCloud files from the Finder
Authored by: elasticthreads on Aug 13, '12 07:59:26PM

If you want to easily add this folder to your Finder sidebar, and make it easier to scan for documents, rather than having to look thru the weirdly named folders ("com~apple~Preview"):
- select ~/Library/Mobile Documents and start a spotlight search there (start typing in the search field) and
- make sure "Mobile Documents" is selected in the scope bar rather than "This Mac"
- click the plus button and set "Kind" is "Document"
- click the Save button and make sure the "Add to Sidebar" box is checked. Name it "iCloud" if you like.

Now you have a saved search that shows all your Documents in iCloud
