How to disable the iCloud Open dialog in Mountain Lion

Thanks a lot for this hint.
Does one know how to get rid of all the social junk (you may say crap too)?
Will this make my MacBook resp. MacMini useable with ML again?
Speed and responsivnes are gone since Lion.
Sadly all UI relates actions are animated somehow with no sense and no need for.

If you Mac seems slow with ML something is up. I found a large speed increase on my 2009 iMac, a new Mac Mini and a Mac Book Pro.

I have none of the "social" stuff going on. Just go into the "Mail, Contacts, and Calendars" pref pane and uncheck what you don't want.
