Eject disk images when Finder sidebar is not visible
Authored by: mef613 on Jul 09, '12 08:32:46AM

Command-option-s will only show/hide the sidebar if the toolbar is visible. If you download a DMG whose window layout is set to hide both toolbar and sidebar, this won't work.

However, Command-option-t will show/hide the toolbar and sidebar together. I use this all the time when opening a DMG to drag an app into Applications or one of my other shortcut folders in the sidebar, as well as to eject it.

I wasn't aware that right-clicking a mounted disk image will give an option to eject it in Lion, though. Thanks!
