Transfer iPhoto book to SnapFish

I dont have any complaints about the resolution of the resulting book. I think the PDF that gets created on export is the same as what gets transmitted to apple for an iPhoto book (although I haven't confirmed this). The PDF to JPG conversion in the Automator workflow lets you choose the compression amount and resolution as options. I used 90% quality and 400dpi. When I uploaded to snapfish there was an option to upload the raw file or do a "fast upload" which I gathered had their uploaded doing some further compression and/or scaling on the file before it was transmitted. I chose the fast upload which is their default setting. All of this being said, my book was not one that I will be looking at with a particularly discriminating eye.
