A reason that iTunes polls for a password each launch
Authored by: excarnate on Dec 22, '11 08:26:03AM

Now that I've updated iTunes (to avoid errors in ripping) I get 'iTunes could not connect to the iTunes Store. The host is down.' Probably because I block the iTunes store with Little Snitch. Since the store is off entirely in my preferences, it shouldn't be trying to make a connection. It is pretty annoying.

~/Library/Cookies/ is drwxr-xr-x and ~/Library/Cookies/Cookies.binarycookies doesn't exist.

10.6.8, iTunes 10.5.2 (11)
