A possible fix for the iPhone 4s battery issue

"Of course, to help the battery, you can also check and disable Bluetooth, WiFi, iCloud backup, and Apple Stock widget if/when you don't use them... Your choice."

I agree with all those things EXCEPT WiFi. I see battery life complaints all day everyday and see that people have been instructed to turn off WiFi. I definitely agree to turn off the option to Ask to Join WiFi networks because that means the phone is constantly scanning for unjoined networks, which eats battery. But if you turn off WiFi altogether, that means the phone has to do all internet/location-based tasks over 3G vs over WiFi, which KILLS your battery. Turning off WiFi seems to have somehow gotten into people's heads as a way to help battery. Unless you want to not be connected to the web altogether (like Airplane Mode), doing anything over WiFi is way easier on the battery than 3G.

Sorry to pounce all over a small detail, but I want people to realize that misconception.
