A possible fix for the iPhone 4s battery issue
If you don't speak German or don't want to use a translator (it's all over the web), you may check here, here or here (and a lot more places if you Google-it).
Basically, the best trick seems to be about enabling the location icon (in the status bar) and see if it keeps running all the time (the icon should turn off when nothing is using the location system).
A lot of people found that the detection of time-zones option was running all the time (and some didn't). Worth a try. Of course, to help the battery, you can also check and disable Bluetooth, WiFi, iCloud backup, and Apple Stock widget if/when you don't use them... Your choice. And as mentioned above, even if Apple didn't acknowledged the issue, it seems to be more related to iOS 5 than the 4S specifically (as some iPhone 4 owner had similar issues since upgrading to iOS 5). |
