10.7: Move Computer to top of the Finder Sidebar

There is actually a MUCH easier way. In the Finder window, under DEVICES, select your computer. The items shown will include your hard drive. Simply select it and drag it to the FOVORITES. Then use the CMD procedure to position it where you want it. There is no need to restart the Finder.

Thanks for this. Also, there is no need for a "CMD procedure," I am able to drag/reposition the hard drive icon without holding the CMD key.
