10.7: Restore Tap-Drag
Yeah this threw me off. At home the setting carried over because I upgraded Snow Leopard. At work, I did a clean install to fully eval Lion on a laptop. This setting didn't get turned on by default but after a day or two of watching various RSS feeds, someone else mentioned this setting.
10.7: Restore Tap-Drag
With three finger dragging you only need to use three fingers to start moving and can then use a single one to move what your are dragging with greater accuracy (though still not as much as Tap-Drag). You can also enable both features simultaneously and for some things the three finger drag is a bit nicer. I do wish they'd put this was put in the standard trackpad preferences though. |
