10.7: Open Terminal to selected folder
Authored by: Lri on Aug 17, '11 12:49:23PM

Some notes:

  • The actions are only displayed in context menus, not on the menu bar
  • I couldn't any custom shortcuts to work in Finder, but did in other applications
    • Did anyone else get them to work?
  • The services aren't available for folders in TextMate's drawer or Xcode's source list
  • They are available in Transmission
  • They can't be used to open the folder of the current document in apps like TextEdit
  • They didn't have any shortcuts by default

That's so weird. I concur on all points. What apps did you have success with shortcuts?

These now show up in the Services menu for me, and my assigned shortcuts work. Perhaps this was fixed in 10.7.1?

In 10.7.3 the assigned shortcut works for me in Finder but only in Icons View and List View but NOT in Columns View.
