10.7: Disable Smart Zoom to remove delay in two-finger Secondary Click
Authored by: r-spx on Aug 16, '11 08:20:52AM

I don't see this delay.

I'm guessing it's only a problem if you have tap-to-click enabled, which it isn't by default.

In fact, I've just checked and I'm right. The tip should mention this or people will be turning-off a useful feature unnecessarily.

Tap to Click and No Delays

I have most gestures turned on, including tap to click (which I've used on ever Apple lappy I've owned).

I haven't seen a problem with these gestures, and if there is a small delay, it's not enough to bother me.

For me, Smart Zoom is all too useful in Safari. It provides a quick way to maximize text, and means that when I remember to use it, I can use Universal Access Zoom less (which I need due to eyesight).
