Garamond still availabel in Appleworks

Garamond may have left many other Mac applications, but it is still alive and kicking in Appleworks. No modifications are nessercy (other then brushing Uncle Bill off your shoulder), just open Appleworks and viola!

Garamond still availabel in Appleworks

Garamond doesn't show up in my Appleworks menu. Also, the font used by Apple had been altered slightly, making it much more elegant.

I do see it where this hint said it would be, but I can't copy it or duplicate it or move it.

I changed the permissions in the get info, but that had no effect. One option in the Owner pop-up menu is "Me" followed by several icons of Kanji!!??!!

How did the poster/hinter move this font?

Put the font file appended with .dfont in username/Library/Fonts not the Systems folder.

Garamond still unavailable
Authored by: Impish47 on Nov 06, '02 10:33:55AM

The font is now in the ~/Library/fonts folder, but it still doesn't show up anywhere. I tried changing the name to Garamond.dfont, but that didn't help. I'm still mystified.

Another question: what font is the finder's menubar in Jaguar? Is that Garamond?

thanks!
