How do you make an LPD port?
This tip is just what I'm looking for. But I'm unable to create the LPD port for the printer on my Windows PC. When I try to create a new port, I only get 'Local Port', 'LPR Port' or 'Standard TCP/IP Port'. None of these seems to produce the desired result.

Rather than create an LPD port on Windows, try using SMB (Windows File and Printer Sharing). Details can be found using the Gimp-Print drivers. For a commercial product, you can also use DAVE by Thursby Software Systems. |
