New poll: Upgrade plans for 10.7.
I will probably upgrade to 10.7.1 when the first update is out. But Quicken 2007 is still a sticking point for me. It has it's flaws, but I don't think anything else, including Quicken Essentials, is as good. And I rely on it daily. I have another Mac I could leave on Snow Leopard, but don't know that I want to have to boot it just to do my finances.

I was in the same boat. I used to use Quicken on my Palm to track spending too. You might want to try out Mint.com That's what I used to break my Quicken dependancy.

Yes, the Mail interface sounds exciting to me as well. I've been a long time Letterbox user to get a 3 column display. If I understand, Apple is finally including that as an option.

I had a friend who was using a lot of the advanced features in Quicken 2006 and Quicken quit working for him after one of the recent 10.6 updates. He switched to iBank and really loves it. You get a free 30 day trial for it, I believe. I think it let him import his entire Quicken history/database as well.

I'll second that; iBank rocks the house and makes Quicken look like a joke. ---
