You on a laptop?
Authored by: aranor on Oct 03, '02 06:15:16PM

Are you on a laptop? For those of us with regular keyboards, cmd-opt-asterisk turns zoom on/off and cmd-opt-plus zooms in and cmd-opt-minus zooms out.

Those are the same keys that I described in my hint.... So no, I am not on a laptop, and they should all function the same.

Sorry for the confusion...

One mistake on my part, and one correctly stated but not quite correct term are serving to confuse the issue ... it's just command-option-8 to activate/deactivate (the 'shift' was my editing mistake), which is the same as command-option-* on the full sized keyboards. The command-option-equals bit is actually correct on a full-size or small keyboard - it's just the lower-case of "+", as "shift" isn't needed ... so on a full size keyboard, you have six keys you can use - two each for on/off, zoom in, and zoom out.
