Built-in in Entourage! Duh!
Authored by: hayne on Oct 02, '02 12:22:34PM

The main reason why a scheduled deletion would not suit me is that I want them deleted as soon as I notice (by the bolding of the inBox) that there is something in my inBox. I don't want to wait for a later deletion. But also, I am reluctant to commit to any scheduled deletion when there is a possibility that some of the messages might have been misclassified as junk. (Entourage's junk mail filter is not nearly as good as that in Mail.app)

Yeah, you can do that in Entourage pretty much without the AppleScript.

I have it set up to filter incoming messages (it goes through about a dozen filters and three junk mail filters [mainly because Entourage's Junk Filter is lacking compared to Mail.app]) and depending on if it meets certain requirements, it automatically ends up in my "Junk Limbo Folder" where I'll take a glance at it throughout the day and if it so happens NOT to be junk I simply toss it back in the Inbox and unmark it. On quit (at the end of the day), I have a Schedule set up to delete the "Junk Limbo Folder."

There's a 2% chance that it ends up in the Junk Limbo folder by mistake.
