Worked just fine. Just COMMAND-D (File > Duplicate) the TextStyles.plist file before altering it, so you have an unmodified original stored inside iTunes.

You can also dig through all of the 9xxx series of resources to change the font/size of any text in iTunes. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a way to globally change the font. (I dislike Lucida Grande.)

BTW, you don't need Apple Developer Tools installed. You just need any plist editor. You could even use TextEdit if you know what you're doing.
