What am I missing. It's not working for me. I've tried +, a, pressing mouse button and holding mouse still, pressing and draging etc. It's installed. It just isn't doing anything. What the heck???

Note: You may have to Quit Safari and re-load Safari.

First, Click a representative sample of the text you want to change and hold down the mouse button. Don’t let it go yet. Press '='. Now Release the mouse button.

In addition to '=', you can also press:
A, +, = Increase the font size
Z, - Decrease the font size
F, \ Apply your favorite font and size
Q, 0 (zero)
Restore the default font and size
C Apply high-contrast colors
Shift-C Apply inverse high-contrast colors

Tony, Thanks for the post. I've tried what you said already and it's still not doing anything. I even rebooted. I'm feeling like a dummy. It seems so simple. Like just now, down below where it says "Important Stuff" I put my mouse over the word "Please" pressed the left mouse button and held the button down and hit = then released the mouse button and then released = and nothing happened. What am I missing?

Are you highlighting the representative text?
Highlight this paragraph and _don’t let it go of the mouse button_, press "=" (multiple times), then release the mouse button

Thanks again Tony. I tried it and unfortunately, it still isn't working for me. I'm going to try reinstalling it.

That didn't work either. I have my mouse set-up for left hand. I tried changing it to right hand. That also didn't work. Am I the only one this isn't working for????

I may be on to something. I just installed an update for another extension and now that extension doesn't work either. Infact, it seems that, except for the icons showing up, now none of my extensions are working. Yes, they are turned on and enabled. Any ideas?
