Mail forward ends in revealing the hidden part of system
Authored by: HAB on Feb 10, '11 08:34:07AM

Just discovered one feature/bug? in Mail 4.4, Mac OS X 10.6.6.

Let us say I receive an e-mail with several attachments, at least one of them is a .zip file. Then I want to Forward this message with some of those attachments but not with all. I accidentally double-clicked the zip file which I wanted to delete from the message being forwarded and now Mac opens this zip attachment as if it would be normally downloaded. The Finder window which shows this attachment is in this moment deep in the system cache/temp structure and I can browse through the whole, normally hidden portion of the system.

I do not believe, it is a type of behavior which is desired. Since I have not found any "Mac bug reporting" and I am not sure this is standard, I try this forum which looks open to this kind of reports.

You might try posting in the actual forums...links to the forums off to the right.

Also, here is the place you submit bug to Apple.
