Security flaw?
Authored by: jasonq on Jan 31, '11 11:21:42AM

Wow! If the iPhone knows that the password is completely numeric, this implies that either:

a) The password is stored somewhere in a readable form
b) A flag is set marking the password as numbers only when first introduced.

Case (a) would be very bad and the best case scenario for case (b) is that there is a much smaller pool of characters to attack with brute force.
