Though I have not yet upgraded to 10.6.6, I expect great annoyance and look forward to the hint to disable it. FWIW, you can disable the worthless Windows web service prompt with:

I realize that this site is not about Windows tips, but that's actually a great one! That Windows prompt annoys me to no end - especially since choosing to use the web service is never useful when I actually need it because I don't already know what type of extension I'm dealing with! This Mac version may actually be useful though. And if not, I'm sure there is a way to turn it off. |
